We are in the middle of preparing for our three festival performances. We have a total of three this month. March 18 and 26, the wind ensemble will preform at Long Beach Wilson and Montebello High School Respectively. Times to TBA. All groups will perform on March 19 for our ABC festival at Whitney Mac Theater. Please be sure that your student has the proper performance attire. Black dress shirt, Black Dress pants and Black dress shoes for boys and girls. Girls have an option of wearing a performance gown, this gown must cover the ankles when sitting. There will be no exceptions to this as we must be uniformed at all performances. Please let me know if you need any help with this. Please remember that our bands are in midst of our snap raise fund raiser. With out these fundraisers we can not continue to provide your student with quality music education. We have 5 days left. Lets finish strong. Although these are voluntary, we need to have as close to 100% participation as possible to reach our goals. Thank you for your support. Finally, We will have our parent meeting this Thursday at 7pm in the band room. We will discuss logistics for the festival, Knotts trip, upcoming fundraisers, as well as financial reports.
