This week in Band

Thank you for all that helped in our last fund raiser, we raised approximately $8,000. Thanks again for the support. Here are this week’s activities:
 
Monday – Rehearsal 3-5 pm (very important, we will have a special guest working with our students) Concert band students will be dismissed at 4pm. Wind Ensemble students will stay until 5pm.
 
Tuesday – Drum line Rehearsal 3-5
 Family Band Night at Panda Express Cerritos Promenade 11449 South St.
Come support the band.
 
Wednesday – Sectionals – 2-4pm All sections, Times TBA
 
Friday – Spring Rally in the Gym. All students should wear their Fancloth Shirts.
Drum line Rehearsal 3-5
 
Saturday Drumline Competition – Times and Details TBA
 
Next week is our festivals, your student will be preparing diligently for it. All festivals are free and parents are welcome to come to the concert, We would apprecitate it if you could come and support our band in the audience.
Here is the Schedule
 
March 18th- Long Beach Wilson High School – Leave school 12:30 pm, Perfrom 2 pm, Return to School approx. 4 Pm. A bus will be provided.
 
March 19 – Whitney High School – No Bus will be provided. Please arranged transportation for your student.
Call time 4:30 pm. Concert Band Performs 5:30 Pm, Clinic 6:30.
(Concert Band members must stay to hear the Wind Ensemble)
Wind Ensemble Performs 7pm. Concert Band Students dismissed at 7:30pm.
 
March 25 Montebello High School – A bus will be provided.
Depart school 8:30-9am
Warm up 10 am
Performance 10:30-11:00am
 
Lunch 11:30-12:00pm
 
Return to AHS approx. 1:00 Pm
